Digital publishing has turned many journalists into mere line workers in the content production industrial complex. But what about the young journalists embarking on this professional mission today?

This discussion was inspired by Paulina Januszewska’s book Bullshit journalism, whose excerpt has just been published in Eurozine. It was recorded at the 32nd European Meeting of Cultural Journals in Warsaw on 12 November 2024, which took place at Warsaw’s Palac Financowo, that is, the Palace of Finance.

Paulina Januszewska is a journalist of the Polish online portal Krytyka Polityczna, and recently publsihed her book, Bullshit Journalism on the early career path experiences of young journalists. Her book is the inspiration for this episode.

Ivana Dragičević is a journalist and executive producer international news at N1, Zagreb
