President Trump has concluded a two-day visit to Beijing at a high-stakes summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

The US leader hailed the trip as a success, saying he had struck “fantastic trade deals”, but little detail is known about the discussions.

Neither side has announced any major trade breakthroughs or business deals.
