Survivors of a Russian air strike that killed 25 retirees who had gathered to collect their pension checks described shock and grief to RFE/RL’s Ukrainian Service. As volunteers helped them evacuate the village of Yarova in the Donetsk region, one woman said she was spared only because two dead men fell on top of her.
