The national airline’s winter timetable has just started on October 26th, but SWISS is already announcing its new destinations for the summer, in effect from March 29th to October 24th.
SWISS will launch two new European flights from Zurich.
One, starting on March 29th, will go to the Polish city of Poznan, where the airline will fly on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The other new addition to the airline’s European route network is Rijeka on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, with two weekly flights – on Mondays and Fridays – during July and August.
Long-haul network
According to SWISS Chief Commercial Officer Heike Birlenbach, the airline will also fly soccer fans “daily or even several times a day” to FIFA World Cup sites in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and Miami.
From April 26th, five flights a week will also go to Toronto, another 2026 World Cup venue.
In all, SWISS will serve a total of 112 destinations from Zurich and Geneva in its 2026 summer schedule.
“Travellers from Zurich will be offered 70 European and 25 intercontinental destinations, while services from Geneva will extend to New York and 29 short-haul destinations,” Birlenbach said.
