Thailand is participating in the World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai from September 17-28, highlighting its commitment to sustainable tourism and the “Future of Earth and Biodiversity.” The exhibition, under the theme “Thailand Connecting Lives for Greatest Happiness,” showcases:

  • Sustainable Travel Vision: Promoting low-carbon tourism practices and the country’s rich cultural heritage.
  • Cultural and Interactive Exhibits: Featuring traditional “Tung Sai Moo” paper cutting, multimedia presentations of destinations, and digital travel resources.
  • Key Strengths: Emphasizing Thailand’s advantages in wellness, medical services, and sustainable tourism.

The Thailand Pavilion has been a popular attraction, welcoming over 1.5 million visitors since its opening and is expected to draw approximately 20,000 visitors to its temporary sustainable tourism exhibition. This participation underscores Thailand’s enduring appeal to global travelers.

The exhibition highlights Thailand’s commitment to eco-friendly practices, showcasing innovative approaches to sustainable tourism. Visitors can explore interactive displays, cultural performances, and workshops that emphasize the importance of preserving natural resources while promoting authentic travel experiences. This initiative not only reinforces Thailand’s position as a leading tourist destination but also inspires other nations to adopt sustainable tourism models.
