The Cabinet approved special official holidays to promote tourism and the economy, supporting Thailand’s Year of Tourism and Sports in 2025. The SEC designated additional holidays for securities companies and derivatives operators.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has considered it appropriate to designate 2 June and 11 August 2025 as well as 2 January 2026 as additional special holidays for securities companies and derivatives business operators to support the government’s policy above and align with the holiday schedule established for financial institutions and specialized financial institutions.
