The Texas Rangers visit the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 6:15 p.m. CT from American Family Field, Milwaukee, WI.

The Milwaukee Brewers enter at 84-51, while the Texas Rangers sit at 66-69. Shane Drohan (6-5, 3.85 ERA in 105.1 innings) takes the mound for the Brewers, opposed by Cal Quantrill (6-4, 2.90 ERA in 83.2 innings). Milwaukee has allowed 976 hits this season, the second-fewest in MLB behind the Dodgers’ 968. Texas allowed 133 earned runs in July, the second-most in MLB behind the Athletics’ 153.

Below, we’ll give you all the details you need to know about how to watch this game.

How to Watch Rangers vs. Brewers

  • When: Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 6:15 p.m. CT
  • Where: American Family Field, Milwaukee, WI
  • TV: FOX
  • Stream: Watch 3 days free on FOX One, FOX Sports

Players to Watch

Jackson Chourio

Chourio gives Milwaukee a power and speed threat who can change this matchup from the top half of the lineup. He is batting .282 with 19 home runs, 54 RBI and 14 stolen bases, and he went 4-for-5 with two home runs and a steal Thursday.

Texas has to keep him off base and out of favorable counts. If Chourio is creating traffic early, the Brewers can put pressure on the Rangers before the middle of the order comes up.

Brice Turang

Turang keeps Milwaukee’s offense moving with contact, patience and speed. He is batting .257 with a .351 on-base percentage, 17 home runs, 78 RBI and 18 stolen bases.

That combination makes him a problem whether he is starting an inning or batting with runners aboard. Texas needs to limit his chances to extend innings and create extra pressure on the bases. His plate discipline also gives the Brewers another way to force Texas into longer innings.

Cal Quantrill

Quantrill is the probable starter and Texas’ best chance to control the pace against Milwaukee. He is 6-4 with a 2.90 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 60 strikeouts in 83.2 innings.

His command will be the key against a Brewers lineup that can stack baserunners quickly. If Quantrill works ahead and avoids free passes, the Rangers can keep the game within reach into the later innings. His recent form gives Texas more confidence in that plan.

Ezequiel Duran

Duran gives Texas one of its steadiest run-producing bats. He is batting .272 with a .331 on-base percentage, 14 home runs, 70 RBI and 10 stolen bases, and he is 10-for-26 with six RBI over his last seven games.

Milwaukee does not give opponents many clean scoring chances, so Duran has to make his opportunities count. His ability to put the ball in play with runners aboard could determine whether Texas breaks through in this matchup.
