
TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 22. Azerbaijani
company Milla is interested in establishing dairy production in
Tashkent, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade
Laziz Kudratov said at the fourth Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Regional
Forum in Tashkent, Trend‘s special correspondent reports.
“We welcome the interest of Azerbaijani company Milla in
establishing dairy production in Tashkent,” Kudratov said.
According to him, developing cooperation in the agribusiness and
food sectors is one of the promising areas of interaction between
the regions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
Kudratov noted that Syrdarya region and Fuzuli, as well as
Kashkadarya region and Beylagan, could focus on horticulture, deep
processing of agricultural products and the production of finished
food products.
The fourth Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Regional Forum focuses on
expanding interregional economic cooperation and implementing joint
investment and trade projects. The forum is being held in Tashkent
and aims to further develop direct ties between the regions of the
two countries and expand cooperation in investment, industry and
trade.
