Azerbaijan’s Aghdam enhances infrastructure with major energy and communication upgrades

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. Phased restoration
and reconstruction efforts in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district continue
to progress, with significant advancements in the second phase of
residential development, Trend reports.

The next steps in the city’s recovery include major upgrades to
energy facilities, internal engineering communication systems (such
as water, sewage, stormwater drainage, electricity supply, and
street lighting), as well as landscaping and general infrastructure
improvements.

Relevant authorities have already started work on these projects
in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts under the Restoration,
Construction, and Management Service.

The agency is currently seeking a company to carry out the
project and has stated that it is prepared to pay up to 9.7 million
manat ($5.7 million) for the completion of the planned work.
