May 7: Banks in Assam will remain closed for the Panchayat Election 2025

May 9: Banks will remain closed in West Bengal on account of  Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti.

May 12: Banks in Tripura, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, New Delhi, Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh will remain closed on May 12 on account of Buddha Purnima.

May 16: Sikkim to observe a public holiday due to ‘Sikkim State Day’ and banks will also remain closed along with other government offices, schools and colleges.

May 26: A holiday to mark the birth anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam in the northeast state of Tripura.

May 29: Holiday in Himachal Pradesh for Maharana Pratap Jayanti.
