
A number of new flights will operate between Switzerland and European as well as North African airports from April and through the rest of the spring and summer.
For airlines, the summer schedule begins on March 30th, with new routes ‘inaugurated’ from that date on and until the autumn timetable begins in October.
Here’s what April 2025 looks like:
From Zurich:
Easyjet
From April 1st, the low-cost airline will fly twice a week to Faro, Spain.
SWISS
From April 17th, the national flag carrier will fly to Dubrovnik, Croatia five times a week.
Edelweiss
SWISS’ sister airline will add the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, to its timetable twice a week on April 12th
Basel EuroAirport:
Easyjet
From April 1st, the airline will fly twice a week to Reykjavik, Iceland, and Djerba Tunisia
From April 4th, it will fly to Bilbao, Spain, also twice a week.

What about later in the spring and summer?
SWISS will add Montpellier (France) to its schedule from June 27th, Heringsdorf (Germany), from June 29th; and Niš (Serbia) from June 30th.
Edelweiss is adding seven new destinations, including two long-haul ones, from its Zurich hub to the summer timetable.
Among the new North American routes are Seattle in the USA from June 2nd and Halifax in Canada from July 3rd.
Flights to Bristol in the UK will commence on June 2nd.
(If you are a non-UK citizen, don’t forget that you will need to apply for travel authorisation ETA).
In addition, the airline will fly to Terceira in the Azores (Portugal) from June 25th, Zadar in Croatia from June 28th, as well as Calvi in Corsica from July 6th.

EasyJet also will offer five additional destinations from Zurich to its summer 2025 schedule.
Palma (Spain) will be served daily from March 30th, 2025 and another Spanish city, Málaga, will be added to the schedule from March 31st.
Flights to the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, from May 1st.
There will also be four flights weekly to Olbia, Sardinia, from June 23rd, 2025.
