Women arrested in Madrid for carrying cocaine in ‘pregnant’ belly
A woman has been arrested at Madrid Barajas airport after hiding more than two kilos of cocaine around her stomach and pretending to be pregnant.
The arrested woman’s incoherent answers aroused the officers’ suspicions during a routine check. Shortly afterward, the young woman voluntarily removed a silicone prosthesis shaped like a pregnant belly.
Concealed beneath the prosthesis were thirteen packages of cocaine taped to her abdomen.
The young woman, who arrived in Madrid on a transatlantic flight, could face a sentence of between 6 and 12 years in prison for a drug trafficking.

Spain’s ruling Socialists have lost 300,000 votes to Vox, poll finds
Spanish far-right party Vox has syphoned 300,000 Socialist votes, according to a survey conducted by SIGMA DOS for Spanish right-leaning daily El Mundo.
According to their findings, the combined total of the PP and Vox would reach the 200-seat threshold for the first time, enough for an absolute majority in parliament and for them to rule.
The PSOE and its partners would only secure 147 seats, 32 fewer than in the last election.
Another new poll by Sociométrica poll for Spanish news site El Español also found that the PSOE will lose voter support, but rather be left with 102 seats.
The PP would win 145 seats and would only need the support of Navarran or Canary conservative parties (UPN or Coalición Canaria) and the abstention of Vox to govern.

Since 2010, Spain has registered the largest increase among the major European countries.
