SBI Funds Management is a joint venture between SBI and partner French asset management company Amundi SA, and the latter will offload stake in the IPO.

State Bank of India has announced that the initial public offering (IPO) of its subsidiary SBI Mutual Fund will open for retail investors’ subscription on July 14 and close on July 16. Allotment to investors after bidding is expected to be made on July 18. The anchor investor bidding will open on Monday (July 13).

The fund house will announce the price band on Thursday (July 9).

SBI Funds Management is a joint venture between SBI and partner French asset management company Amundi SA, and the latter will offload stake in the IPO.

SBI will sell 12.83 crore equity shares or 6.30 per cent of the paid up equity share capital of SBI Funds Management while Amundi India Holdings will offload 7.54 shares or 3.70 per cent of share capital of SBI FM through the offer for sale.

The country’s largest fund house, SBI Funds Management has registered an income of ₹4,969 crore, accounting for 0.70 per cent of total income of SBI Group in FY26. It has ₹3,533 crore in reserves and surplus which accounts for 0.59 per cent of reserves and surplus of SBI Group.
