Who’s starting, who’s hurt, and who’s on the move?

NFL news is nonstop, and we’re breaking it all down week by week this season.

Here’s the latest on what’s happening around the league entering Week 6:

Eagles’ OL Out With Ankle Injury

Eagles‘ three-time Pro Bowler Landon Dickerson will reportedly be out the next 1-2 games with an ankle injury. Dickerson will miss the Eagles’ game against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football.

Cardinals’ HC Jonathan Gannon receives fine

Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon reportedly received a team-induced fine of $100,000 for his sideline altercation with running back Emari Demercado. Gannon approached Demercado after the RB dropped the ball short of the end zone, yelling in his face and pushing him in his chest. The coach later apologized for his actions, but the team ultimately still issued a fine.

Jaguars TE Brenton Strange lands on IR

The Jacksonville Jaguars offense will be without a key piece for the foreseeable future after placing tight end Brenton Strange (hip) on injured reserve Tuesday. The hip injury will sideline Strange for, at least, the next four games.

In his five appearances this season, Strange has been a solid security blanket for Trevor Lawrence, ranking second on the team with 204 yards on 20 receptions.

Chargers make a move for Ravens edge Odafe Oweh

A pair of AFC teams made an intriguing trade Tuesday as the Los Angeles Chargers acquired Baltimore Ravens edge Odafe Oweh, per NFL Network. L.A. will receive Oweh and a future seventh-round pick while Baltimore will land safety Alohi Gilman and a 2026 fifth-round pick.

Oweh, the No. 31 overall pick in 2021, has recorded 10 tackles in five games played this season. His addition to a Chargers front seven currently without Khalil Mack (elbow) could prove beneficial going forward.

Meanwhile, Baltimore adds an experienced veteran to its struggling secondary in Gilman, a 2020 sixth-round pick. He has appeared in all five games in 2025, recording 22 tackles and three pass deflections.

Packers’ Watson returns to practice

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson has returned to practice as he moves a step closer to playing again after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament nine months ago.

“I’ve got to knock a little bit of rust off, obviously,” Watson said after Monday’s practice. “Been a while since I was able to go out there and play football.”

Watson tore his right ACL on Jan. 5 during the Packers’ 24-22 loss to Chicago that closed their 2024 regular season. The Packers placed him on the physically unable to perform list before this season.

His return to practice starts a 21-day window before the Packers must activate him in order for him to play this year.

Watson, a 2022 second-round pick from North Dakota State, has 98 career catches for 1,653 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also has two career touchdown runs.

Patriots reportedly lose RB Gibson to ACL tear

The Patriots have lost kick returner and third-string running back Antonio Gibson to a torn ACL, per ESPN. He suffered the injury to his knee in Sunday’s win against the Bills, after taking additional snaps at running back. Gibson was filling in for starting running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who has fumbled the ball three times since Week 3, including against Buffalo – that leads the league.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
