RFE/RL’s Radio Farda has spoken to an Iranian man who says he witnessed protests in the southeastern city of Kerman on January 8 and January 9. Nader B, whose name and voice have been changed to protect his identity, says security forces launched a violent crackdown in the city on January 9 with hundreds of gunshots being fired.
