Wan Yin Koh named VP, Business Development, Digital at Warner Chappell Music Asia Pacific

Wan Yin Koh named VP, Business Development, Digital at Warner Chappell Music Asia Pacific

Warner Music Group has appointed Wan Yin Koh as Vice President, Business Development, Digital at Warner Chappell Music Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, Koh will report to Natalie Madaj, Executive Vice President, Global Digital.

In the role, Koh will oversee Warner Chappell Music’s digital licensing and partnership strategy across the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on revenue growth and navigating the region’s increasingly complex digital music ecosystems.

She brings more than 15 years of industry experience to Warner Music Group.

Koh most recently held senior management roles at music data and technology company BMAT Music Innovators and digital distribution platform FUGA, where she worked with multi-territory teams and was involved in securing licensing agreements with platforms including Spotify and Tencent Music Group.

Commenting on the appointment, Madaj said: “The Asia Pacific region is a powerhouse of digital growth and cultural influence. Wan Yin’s deep-rooted expertise in music publishing and her track record of scaling businesses in these markets will be a massive asset. Koh holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a Master’s degree in Euro-Asian Business and International Business from the University of Barcelona.


Koh’s appointment follows a series of recent senior leadership moves at Warner Music Group.

These include the appointment of Hannah Karp to EVP and Chief Communications Officer; Eric Wong’s promotion to EVP, Recorded Music, alongside his roles as President of East West Records US and President of Warner Music Canada; and the appointment of long-serving A&R executive Craig Kallman as Chief Music Officer.Music Business Worldwide
