Uzbekistan elevates its foreign trade turnover with Germany

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 5. Uzbekistan’s
foreign trade turnover with Germany grew to $856.9 million from
January through September 2024.

The data obtained by Trend from the Uzbek Statistics Agency shows that this
is 9.2 percent more compared to the same period last year ($784.2
million from January through September 2023).

Germany ranked among the 10 top trading partners of Uzbekistan
in terms of trade turnover over the period.

Uzbekistan’s exports to Germany in the first nine months of 2024
totaled $63.1 million, which is 3.4 percent more than last year
($61 million from January through September 2023).




Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s imports from Germany reached $793.9
million from January through September 2024. This indicator rose by
9.7 percent compared to the same period last year ($723.2 million
from January through September 2023).

To note, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $48.2
billion in the period from January through September 2024. This
indicator grew by 7.7 percent year-on-year ($44.7 billion from
January through September 2023).
