Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2025, held in Chiang Mai, focuses on sustainability, soft power, and digital transformation. It aims to boost tourism through innovative and responsible practices, generating significant economic impact.

Launch of TTM+ 2025

On June 4, 2025, Chiang Mai hosted the Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2025, inaugurated by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The event, running through June 6, emphasized sustainability, digital transformation, and soft power. It showcased Thailand’s cultural heritage and innovative tourism experiences through the ‘Five Must-Do’ activities. This carbon-neutral event aimed to equip local businesses for global competitiveness via responsible tourism strategies.

Strategic Vision and Participation

Thai Tourism Minister Sorawong Thienthong highlighted TTM+ 2025 as pivotal in transforming Thailand’s tourism landscape, stressing its role in enhancing service standards and fostering global partnerships. The event drew participation from 406 international buyers and 450 Thai operators. TTM+ featured immersive cultural experiences and business networking opportunities, marking a significant step towards sustainable tourism growth.

Innovation and Sustainability

Sustainability was central to TTM+ 2025, showcasing initiatives like carbon-neutral practices and waste recycling. The event also presented the Travel Tech Zone, introducing AI-powered tools like TAT’s tourism data system. These innovations support Thai tourism operators in delivering enhanced travel experiences. Through regional cooperation and media presence, TTM+ reinforced Thailand’s commitment to sustainable practices and storytelling.
