Trinkgeld ist nicht zwingend. Wenn auf der Rechnung das Gedeck («Coperto») aufgeführt ist, ist es bereits inbegriffen. Dieses beinhaltet das Bereitstellen von Geschirr, Besteck, Gläsern, das Tischdecken. Dann reicht wenig Trinkgeld, wenn man besonders zufrieden war. Meistens kostet das Coperto 1,50 bis 5 Euro pro Person.
