The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra is performing at festivals across Europe, playing symphonic works by Ukrainian composers that draw on themes of war, tragedy, and hope for the future. At a festival in Romania, the orchestra’s Ukrainian-Canadian founder and conductor told RFE/RL that the performances show the world that Ukrainian culture cannot be silenced.
