The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2026, featuring 468 restaurants and marking significant achievements for the country’s culinary scene.

Ten new MICHELIN Stars, including new Three and Two MICHELIN Stars, expanding talent, and strengthened sustainability recognition reinforce Thailand’s global gastronomic leadership

Sühring has been promoted to Three MICHELIN Stars, becoming Thailand’s second restaurant to achieve this highest distinction, while Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie and INDDEE have been elevated to Two Stars. The guide includes seven new One MICHELIN Star restaurants (including Bo.lan, Cannubi by Umberto Bombana, and Gaggan), and introduces a new MICHELIN Guide Mentor Chef Award won by David Thompson. With a total of 2 Three-Star, 8 Two-Star, 33 One-Star restaurants, plus 5 Green Stars, 137 Bib Gourmand, and 288 MICHELIN Selected establishments, Thailand reinforces its position as a leading global gastronomic destination and supports TAT’s “Value over Volume” tourism strategy.

Additional Special Awards celebrate excellence in service, innovation, and emerging talent. These include the MICHELIN Guide Young Chef Award, presented by Blancpain, awarded to Suwijak Kunghae, Owner-Chef of Royd (MICHELIN Selected); the MICHELIN Guide Opening of the Year Award, presented by UOB, awarded to Wilfrid Hocquet, Owner-Chef of Margo; and the MICHELIN Guide Service Award, presented by TAT, awarded to Arsen Brahaj, Restaurant Manager at Aulis, a One MICHELIN Star restaurant in Phang-Nga.

With 2 Three MICHELIN Stars, 8 Two MICHELIN Stars, 33 One MICHELIN Stars, 5 MICHELIN Green Stars, 137 Bib Gourmand, and 288 MICHELIN Selected restaurants, The MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2026 underscores Thailand’s continued rise as a leading global culinary destination.
