The Tourism Authority of Thailand launched the “Trusted Thailand” Stamp to enhance safety and international confidence. Focused on key safety measures, it targets operators, boosts tourism, and reassures travelers.

Trusted Thailand Stamp Launched

Bangkok, 27 August 2025 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) introduced the “Trusted Thailand” stamp, endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. This initiative aims to bolster international trust and present Thailand as a safe, welcoming destination. By recognizing operators who meet high safety standards, it ensures peace of mind for travelers. Mr. Jakkaphon Tangsutthitham, Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports, emphasized that safety is crucial for sustainable tourism, particularly for key markets like China.

Strengthening Visitor Confidence

The Thai government combines safety measures with tourism promotion, continuously enhancing attraction standards and coordinating with security agencies. These efforts reflect a commitment to a steady recovery, ensuring Thailand remains a top choice for global travelers. Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, highlighted that the Trusted Thailand stamp symbolizes the nation’s pledge to safety and hospitality, aiming to restore traveler confidence.

Implementing Safety and Mobility

The stamp covers safety protocols at key tourism sites, secure financial transactions, and improved visitor care. Workshops and public forums engage key agencies in discussing safety management. Ahead of the high season, campaigns target short-haul markets like China and long-haul markets in Europe and the Americas. A mini-site launching in September 2025 will assist operators in self-assessment, while the project will be implemented nationwide in October 2025, promoting Thailand as a modern and safe destination.
