Thai Stock Exchange set to launch trading of DR “Tencent01,” the owner of WeChat, on May 19

The Stock Exchange of Thailand has accepted the registration of a new DR “TENCENT01”, referring to Tencent Holdings shares, the owner of the WeChat platform and the leader in the Chinese online gaming market, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, issued by Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited, starting trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on May 19, 2025.

Depositary Receipts (DRs) are instruments that allow investors to receive benefits similar to holding foreign securities. Investors can trade through a securities trading account in Thai baht. Those interested in studying the details of DR “TENCENT01” can visit the SEC website at www.sec.or.th or the securities issuer, Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited at www.bualuang.co.th/dr or study more DR products at www.set.or.th/dr
