Celebrating AirAsia in Krabi

On 24 June 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and AirAsia hosted the “AirAsia Skytrax 16 Years Celebration” in Krabi, gathering over 120 KOLs and media from Asia. This initiative aimed to boost Green Season travel and emphasize Krabi’s tourism potential and sustainability. A highlight was the debut of AirAsia’s “Still Winning, Still Gold” aircraft, celebrating its 16th consecutive World’s Best Low-Cost Airline title by Skytrax.

Krabi’s Sustainable Tourism

Vice Governor Suvit Suriyawong welcomed guests, spotlighting Krabi’s landscapes and eco-friendly experiences. The trip, from 19 to 21 June, showcased Krabi’s attractions, including cultural performances and eco-tours. TAT’s Parichart Boonclai emphasized the province’s commitment to sustainable tourism, featuring low-carbon travel and safety enhancements to ensure visitor confidence.

AirAsia’s Brand Strength

This celebration marked AirAsia’s commitment to quality service, with a new aircraft livery. CEO Santisuk Klongchaiya credited AirAsia’s success to team dedication and passenger trust, focusing on expanding routes. To commemorate, AirAsia launched a promotional offer from 19 June to 3 July 2025, providing travel deals through 31 March 2026 on its platforms.
