The Tourism Authority of Thailand earned two PATA Gold Awards for its digital marketing and travel photography. Additionally, Thailand received eight awards overall, showcasing its leadership in sustainable tourism.

TAT’s Marketing Triumph

On August 28, 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) was honored with two accolades at the PATA Gold Awards 2025, during the event at the PATA Travel Mart in Bangkok. Receiving the PATA Gold Award in the Marketing category for Best Integrated Digital Marketing Campaign, TAT’s “The Love Season” initiative showcased effective digital engagement. This campaign has strengthened Thailand’s image as a year-round travel destination.

Celebrating Thai Creativity

TAT also earned the PATA Gold Award for Best Travel Photography with “The Hidden Romance of Sam Roi Yot.” This captivating image highlighted Thailand’s diverse allure. Deputy Governor Nithee Seeprae noted the awards as a testament to TAT’s innovative efforts in promoting Thailand’s tourism. These accolades reflect the agency’s dedication to showcasing both well-known and hidden treasures of Thailand.

Sustainable Achievements

The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (DASTA) secured six awards, including the PATA Grand Award for sustainability through the “Sustainable Cultural Heritage Preservation” project. DASTA’s recognition in climate management, tourism for all, and women’s empowerment underscores Thailand’s leadership in sustainable tourism. Altogether, Thailand’s eight awards underscore its role as an inspirational and innovative travel destination internationally.
