The Tourism Authority of Thailand launched its “Unforgettable Experiences — Healing is the New Luxury” campaign at the Middle East Luxury Trade Meet 2025 in Kuwait, focusing on luxury and wellness tourism.

Launch of Thailand’s Luxury Campaign

On 25 November 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) launched the “Unforgettable Experiences — Healing is the New Luxury” campaign at the Middle East Luxury Trade Meet (MLTM) in Kuwait City. This annual event served as a pivotal platform to highlight Thailand’s focus on luxury and wellness tourism. TAT aims to offer emotionally restorative travel experiences, emphasizing value over sheer volume.

Promoting Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism

TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool emphasized Thailand’s commitment to sustainable tourism and meaningful travel. The new campaign aligns with global travelers seeking wellness, cultural connection, and personal engagement. Kuwaiti visitors, known for valuing privacy, comfort, and family-friendly amenities, continue to appreciate Thailand’s offerings, including world-class wellness services and excellent gastronomy.

Strengthening Middle East Partnerships

The MLTM 2025 in Kuwait featured collaboration with Gulf Air and included networking sessions for 18 Thai sellers and 70 Kuwaiti buyers. Thailand has seen a 15% increase in arrivals from Kuwait, with significant revenue growth. Enhanced connectivity, such as frequent Kuwait Airways flights, supports this thriving market. Thailand is also actively engaging across the Middle East with various marketing initiatives and roadshows, expanding tourism opportunities in the region.
