Tajikistan sees rise in cashless payments in 1H2025

In the first half of 2025, the use of electronic payment methods in Tajikistan surged noticeably. More people are opting for cashless transactions through bank cards and e-wallets, with payment volumes and the number of users rising steadily. The infrastructure supporting these payments, including POS terminals and QR codes, also expanded, making digital payments easier and more accessible across the country. This trend highlights a clear shift towards a more modern and convenient financial system.
