The SEC has extended Samchai Steel’s deadline to submit a special audit report to 9 July 2025, requiring disclosure via SETLink, emphasizing the need for timely report completion.

Bangkok, April 25, 2025 – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has extended the deadline for Samchai Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SAM) to submit its special audit report until July 9, 2025, following the company’s request. SAM is required to disclose the special audit report via the Electronic Listed Company Information Transmission System (SETLink) of the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Previously, the SEC required SAM to submit the special audit report by April 26, 2025, following an extension requested by SAM. The company later sought another extension until July 9, 2025, to ensure a comprehensive audit process before submission. However, the SEC insists that SAM expedite the audit reporting within the specified timeframe. Failure to comply will result in the SEC refusing further extensions and taking necessary actions.

The SEC has therefore instructed SAM to submit the special audit report by 9 July 2025, as requested, and concurrently disclose the report through SETLink.
