Satellite imagery appears to show damage to Russia’s Rybachiy nuclear submarine base following a July 30 tsunami. It was triggered by an 8.8 magnitude earthquake about 120 kilometers off the Kamchatka Peninsula on Russia’s Pacific coastline. The region is seeing an increase in seismic activity with a volcano also erupting for the first time in centuries.
