Preliminary results of presidential election in Moldova announced

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4. The current
President of Moldova Maia Sandu is leading with 50.12 percent of
the votes tn the second round of the presidential election, the
Central Election Commission of Moldova said after counting 92
percent of the protocols.

Alexandr Stoianoglo reportedly received 49.88 percent of the
vote.

01:22 (GMT+4) Preliminary results of the second
round of presidential election in Moldova have been announced, the
Central Election Commission of Moldova said, Trend reports.




After 81 percent of the protocols have been processed, Alexandr
Stoianoglo is leading with 51.52 percent of the votes. The current
president of the country, Maia Sandu, has 44.48 percent.

Earlier it was reported that after processing 75 percent of the
protocols, Stoianoglo was leading with 52.02 percent of the votes,
while Sandu received 47.98 percent of the results.
