In addition to external factors in June, Thai investors are also worried about the impact of the Thailand-Cambodia border dispute. In addition, there are domestic political factors that are entering a period of high uncertainty after the Constitutional Court decided to accept the petition. SWA Submitted for the removal of the Prime Minister and resolved to temporarily suspend his duties.

Mr. Sorapon Tulyasathian Deputy Manager Head of Corporate Strategic Planning The Stock Exchange of Thailand revealed that historical data suggests that even in the event of geopolitical conflicts or the declaration of war, Stock markets in developed countries often face short-term volatility before recovering and returning to positive returns in a short time. The Thai stock market has shown similar strength over the past month, with many analysts suggesting that maintaining investment discipline and continuing to follow the strategy or “Stay Invest” is an important approach to help investors not miss important opportunities. If the market index can quickly reverse upwards and generate satisfactory returns in the next period, it will be able to return to the market.

This is because the Thai economy in the first half of 2025 expanded better than estimated due to the manufacturing sector and the acceleration of exports. As a result, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting decided to maintain the policy interest rate. Meanwhile, after the last day of the sale of Thai ESGX mutual funds, there was a fund flow of more than 30 billion baht. This is considered a factor that helps support Thai stocks during a period of relatively high uncertainty. In addition, the SET plans to support listed companies in various dimensions through the “JUMP+” project to strengthen confidence in the Thai capital market.
