NTPC Green Share Price Surges Nearly 11% After Q4 Growth

NTPC Green Energy Ltd.’s share price surged nearly 11% after the company showcased growth across financial metrics in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2025, NTPC Green Energy reported a revenue increase of 22.5%, reaching Rs 622.27 crore compared to Rs 508.14 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation also saw a notable increase of 28.4%, amounting to Rs 560.27 crore versus Rs 436.45 crore year-on-year.

Moreover, the company’s Ebitda margin expanded to 90% from 85.9%. Meanwhile, the net profit zoomed 188% to Rs 233.22 crore, compared to Rs 80.95 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Other income increased significantly from Rs 45 crore in the same quarter last year to Rs 129 crore during the current period. This amount includes interest income earned on IPO proceeds that were deposited with scheduled commercial banks while awaiting utilisation.

For the entire fiscal, NTPC Green’s profit rose by 39%, reaching Rs 475.5 crore, compared to Rs 342.8 crore in FY24.
