Nifty failed to breach 26,000 and has come down sharply last week. The near-term picture is slightly weak. Some more fall is likely from here. However, supports are there to limit the downside. We expect the Nifty 50 to reverse higher again after testing the support.

Nifty Bank index on the other hand looks slightly unclear.

Nifty can dip to 25,200-25,100 from here. Thereafter Nifty 50 can rise back to 26,000-26,100 initially and then to 26,400 eventually.

Nifty Bank index has supports at 59,750 and 59,550 which can be tested this week. A bounce from there can take it back to 61,000. But a break below 59,550 can drag the Nifty Bank index down to 58,800 or 58,500. Thereafter the index can rise back again.
