Potential disaster has struck at New York Jets training camp, as quarterback Justin Fields was carted off the field with what appeared to be a lower body or foot injury on Thursday morning, according to FOX Sports NFL Reporter Ralph Vacchiano.

Fields signed a two-year, $40 million deal with the Jets in March.
