Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan steadily enhancing agricultural cooperation – vice minister

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. Kazakhstan and
Azerbaijan are steadily enhancing agricultural cooperation, Kazakh
Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanuly told Trend.

“As of today, bilateral cooperation in agriculture between
Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan is progressing steadily in line with our
agreements. Trade turnover for the first nine months amounts to $27
million. The main products supplied from Kazakhstan include grains
and processed grain products, as well as meat and meat products,”
he said.

The minister pointed out that Kazakhstan imports vegetables and
fruits from Azerbaijan.

“Meanwhile, compared to last year, we are seeing an overall
decrease in trade turnover, which is linked to global changes
affecting major suppliers,” he added.
