Errol Musk—father of tech billionaire Elon Musk—is set to arrive in New Delhi on June 1st for a week-long trip signalling a growing interest from the Musk family in India’s emerging business opportunities. This marks Errol Musk’s first visit to India just weeks after wife Maye Musk made a trip to Mumbai back in April to launch the Hindi edition of her memoir, “A Woman Makes a Plan.”

Sources in the know told NDTV Profit, Errol will be in India from June 1st to June 6th, with a packed itinerary that includes both business engagements and cultural exploration. One of the key highlights of his visit will be a tour of Servotech Power Systems Ltd’s renewable energy facility, following his recent appointment as a Global Advisory Board Member for the company.

Servotech Renewable, which is actively engaged in India’s fast-evolving green energy space, announced Errol’s addition to its advisory board just last week. His inclusion is expected to bring strategic insights and global perspective to the company’s renewable initiatives. Raman Bhatia, Managing Director of Servotech, is set to personally host Errol at the company’s factory.

Beyond the corporate front, Errol Musk is also expected to meet three to four central ministries during his visit, his engagements could possibly be focused around understanding India’s energy and technology policy landscape. In addition to business meetings, Errol is likely to pay a cultural visit to Ayodhya.

About Errol Musk

Errol Musk is a South African-born electromechanical engineer, pilot, and property developer, with decades of experience in infrastructure and technical fields. A graduate in engineering, he built a career in construction, consulting, and energy-related ventures across South Africa.

While Errol played a formative role in Elon Musk’s early life—encouraging his curiosity in technology and engineering—he has no formal role in Elon’s businesses such as Tesla, SpaceX, or Neuralink. Elon has described their relationship as complex and distant in recent years. Nonetheless, Errol’s engineering background and entrepreneurial drive have been cited as early influences in Elon’s journey.

Errol’s visit to India comes shortly after Maye Musk’s trip to Mumbai, where she attended the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) gala and explored Indian fashion and arts. A renowned model and dietitian, Maye shared highlights of her India visit on social media, praising the country’s vibrancy and culture.
