BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 22. An earthquake
was recorded in the Shamakhi district, 35 km southwest of the
Gobustan station, Trend reports.
According to the Republican Seismological Survey Center of the
Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the tremor occurred
at 05:07 a.m. local time.
The magnitude 3,9 earthquake had an epicenter at a depth of 2
kilometers.
