Dubai real estate sector recorded $5.9bn of transactions last week, including $18m Atlantis apartment

The Dubai real estate sector recorded AED21.67bn ($5.9bn) of transactions last week, according to data from the Land Department.

Sales transactions dominated the figures, with AED13.17bn ($3.6bn), according to Land Department data.

In total there were 3,704 sales transactions recorded between January 5 and 12.

Dubai real estate last week

Among the most expensive sales transactions listed on the Land Department website were:

  • An apartment in Atlantis Resort and Residences in Palm Jumeirah sold for AED65m ($17.7m)
  • A apartment in AVA at Palm Jumeirah in Palm Jumeirah sold for AED54m ($14.7m)
  • An apartment in Mercedes-Benz Places/Binghatti in Burj Khalifa district sold for AED50m ($13.6m)

The Land Department also showed mortgage deals worth AED7.09bn ($1.9bn) last week.

Gift transactions in the same period were valued at AED1.41bn ($384m).
