citing COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company.

Moderated by Shirin Aliyeva, Chief Legal and Data Strategy

together leading female experts and climate leaders driving
transformative change in combating climate change. Panelists
included Dr Barbara Botos, Hungary’s Ambassador at Large for
Climate at the Ministry of Energy; Ambassador Patricia Espinosa,
Climate Advocate CEO & Founding Partner @onepoint5_io and former
Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC (2016-2022); and Nurzat
Abdirasulova, Founder and CEO of Unison Group.

The panel discussion focused on the role of gender equality in
combating climate change, exploring how to expand women’s
contributions to climate resilience and environmental protection,
and proposing solutions to gender-based challenges in this area.
Participants emphasized the importance of amplifying women’s voices
and initiatives for more effective global climate action,
