The ongoing closure of the Afghanistan-Pakistan border has left hundreds of trucks stranded on both sides, severely affecting cross-border trade. As a result, fruit and vegetable prices have surged in Pakistan, with dealers reporting sharp increases, particularly in the cost of grapes, apples, and tomatoes, due to halted supplies from Afghanistan.
