A camel in Pakistan is enjoying a new lease of life after it was fitted with a prosthetic leg by an animal shelter.

Cammie is the first large animal to receive an artificial leg in the country, according to vet Dr Babar Hussain.

It is thought that Cammie’s leg was severed by a landowner after she strayed onto his property in search of food.
