But for all the continued ferocity of the war in Gaza, Tel Aviv has recently been distracted by a new front in its conflict with Iran, with the Israel Defense Forces saying Saturday that Iran was the country’s primary combat arena, according to Haaretz.
Israel attacked key Iranian facilities and figures on Friday, leading to three days of missile salvos between the two sides. The IDF also said it had created a safe route to Tehran and that Israel can now operate freely in Iran’s airspace.
