In-venue interactive music and entertainment company TouchTunes has appointed Scott Levine as Chief Executive Officer.

Levine has 25 years of experience across a range of industries. He most recently served as Chief Product Officer at Brightcove, a video hosting and streaming platform, where he led global teams across product, engineering, and data.

His career also includes leadership roles at Univision and AOL, as well as co-founding an online car-buying platform, CarOrder.com.

TouchTunes operates connected jukeboxes in more than 65,000 bars, restaurants and social venues across North America and Europe.

In 2024, it acquired Arachnid’s soft-tip electronic darts business, and now operates over 30,000 electronic dartboards in bars and restaurants globally.

TouchTunes has been previously been led by music industry veteran Charles Goldstuck, who was appointed CEO of TouchTunes back in 2009. Goldstuck is credited with “transform[ing] TouchTunes from a money-losing, in-venue music business into a digital media powerhouse”.

Goldstuck was appointed interim CEO in January 2025 after the departure of the previous CEO, Ross Honey, and remains at TouchTunes as Executive Chairman.

Commenting on Levine’s appointment, Goldstuck said: “Scott is a transformative leader with a rare blend of strategic vision, product expertise, and a deep understanding of how people connect through entertainment.“

“His track record of building innovative platforms and scaling digital businesses makes him the ideal person to lead TouchTunes into its next phase.”

Levine said: “I’m thrilled to be part of the TouchTunes journey, to join such a talented team, collaborate with amazing partners and operators, and push the boundaries of social entertainment as we pioneer new ways to connect, delight, and wow our users.”

“TouchTunes is poised to strengthen its position as the leading in-venue entertainment platform, bringing people together through the power of music, darts, and social entertainment and creating unforgettable experiences in bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues everywhere.”

This appointment follows the announcement made on April 17 that Charles Goldstuck’s GoldState Music had raised $500 million to acquire more music rights.

The strategic capital raise was led by Northleaf Capital Partners and Ares Management funds, as well as “separately raised leverage.”

TouchTunes is listed as part of GoldState Music’s growth portfolio.Music Business Worldwide
