Lamborghini has launched its latest, the Temerario, in India at ₹6 crore, ex-showroom. The car is powered by a plug-in hybrid combination of a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors, which makes 907 bhp and 81.5 kg-m. The engine can rev to a staggering 10,000 rpm and the car can hit 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. It retains the Huracan’s wedge silhouette but is distinctly sharper, tauter (with 20 per cent increase in rigidity) and weighs 1715 kg (dry).

Hyundai’s overall sales cross 9 million

Registering a 21 per cent growth (year-on-year), Hyundai has also achieved another milestone this time. Its domestic sales have crossed 9 million units as the company inches towards its 30th year in India.

In April 2025, Hyundai sold 60,774 cars, out of which 44,374 were for domestic sales and 16,400 exports. Hyundai is all set to start its new production facility at Talegaon later this year.

Audi prices to go up

Audi India has announced that from May 15, the prices of its cars will increase by up to 2 per cent. The company says the price hike is due to rising input costs and exchange rate.

The increment will be applicable to all Audis currently on sale including the ICE models, SUVs, sedans, high-performance ‘S’ and ‘RS’ cars, and the all-electric ‘e-tron’ range.
