Residents in multiple localities across Delhi should brace for water supply disruptions on April 21, owing to planned maintenance work being carried out by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB). The DJB issued a public notice on April 17, informing residents of the temporary interruption in service.
Water supply in several areas will be unavailable for a five-hour window, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., due to interconnection work on a key water pipeline. Dwarka will face a long disruption lasting 12 hours, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. the same day.
“Due to interconnection work in 12mm dia Dwarka water main at Ranhola Mod on 21.04.2025, the evening water supply of the following areas will not be available from 3 pm to 8 pm on 21.04.2025 (Monday),” the Delhi Jal Board notification stated.
