Noida International Airport Ltd. on Monday conducted the first flight validation test ahead of the airport’s commercial opening in April 2025. The test involved an IndiGo A320 Neo aircraft.
Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu congratulated airport authorities for the success and said the prestigious project will not only benefit the Delhi NCR region but also help in connectivity within Uttar Pradesh.
“The landing of the plane today was a big achievement. We have done the work in record time and will complete the remaining work soon. The government will provide whatever support is required,” Naidu told reporters after the landing test.
After the completion of the test, the aerodrome license will be issued by the regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation, only after which the airport will be ready for commercial operations.
