Shedeur Sanders is the favorite to get chosen first in the 2025 NFL draft for the sixth consecutive week.
At the end of April, Sanders opened as the favorite in this spot. But in September, his odds had gotten as long as +850, dropping him to fourth on the list.
Now he’s on top with the shortest odds at +170, moving from +200 over the last week.
In the Buffaloes‘ Week 13 37-21 loss to Kansas, Sanders passed for 266 yards and three touchdowns.

After Sanders is his teammate Travis Hunter.
And the two-way player’s odds moved to +300 from +340 over the last week and from +750 over the last three weeks.
“We have never seen a cornerback selected No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft, but, of course, Hunter is unprecedented in many ways,” FOX Sports NFL Draft analyst Rob Rang wrote about Hunter. “The Jaguars certainly could use the help for a secondary that currently ranks 30th in the NFL in passing yards allowed, 29th in touchdowns allowed and has just five interceptions through its first 10 games.
“Besides filling a need, Hunter is a dynamic and instinctive player, who, alongside flashy rookie Brian Thomas Jr. at wide receiver could give the Jaguars the playmakers to help Trevor Lawrence turn around a franchise needing bankable talent.”
Rounding out the top three is Miami’s Cam Ward.
He moved to +1100 from +750 after the Hurricane’s Week 13, 42-14 win over Wake Forest.
What makes Miami’s Cam Ward an NFL caliber prospect?
Further down the board are Drew Allar, Cade Klubnik, Carson Beck and James Pearce — all tied at +3400.
