signed documents on energy cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
Within the framework of COP29, Azerbaijani Energy Minister
Parviz Shahbazov met with Kyrgyz Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibrayev.
Issues of bilateral energy cooperation were discussed at the
meeting.
After the meeting, the “Roadmap for Cooperation in the Field of
Energy for 2024-2025 between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the
Kyrgyz Republic” was signed. The document provides for cooperation
in the fields of oil and gas, renewable energy, and the creation of
a joint working group. In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding
and Cooperation was signed between the state organization “Green
Energy Fund” under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic
and the Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy of the
Republic of Azerbaijan.
