Uzbekistan, TotalEnergies discuss co-op in petrochemical industry

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 8. Uzbekistan
and French TotalEnergies company discussed further strengthening
cooperation in the petrochemical industry, Trend reports.

The matter was reviewed during a meeting between the Minister of
Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov with
Executive Vice President of TotalEnergies Marie Braouzec.

At the meeting, the sides discussed existing projects in
Uzbekistan and the timely implementation of previous high-level
agreements.

Both parties also agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation and
expedite the execution of discussed projects and initiatives.

TotalEnergies’ cooperation with Uzbekistan has expanded notably
in recent years, contributing to the country’s goals of sustainable
energy and modernization of its infrastructure. The French energy
giant has invested in renewable energy projects in Uzbekistan,
aligning with the country’s ambition to generate 25% of its energy
from renewables by 2030.
