Officials reviewed immigration and passenger handling, including plans to improve automated passport gates, adjust staffing during peak periods, and share flight and passenger data in real time.
Tourist police will increase oversight at baggage claim areas, conduct joint patrols, and monitor tour groups, transportation services, illegal guides, and unauthorized solicitation. Authorities also plan to use CCTV and an intelligent command center to improve security and response times.
The Visitor Economy strategy looks beyond arrival numbers to spending from leisure, business, education, wellness, and other travel.
